About the middle school musical

The Middle School Musical is typically the introduction to the CVTheatre available to all students in the Chartiers Valley Middle School. The production introduces students to the basic elements of the theater, including acting, staging, singing, and dancing. While the experienced direction is successful in providing students with professional theater concepts, students will also learn with and from one another. Additionally, students from the CVTheatre program in high school will often work one on one with the middle school students in order to better assist them in their theater development. The CVTheatre Middle School Musical welcomes any students who may have any interest in the theater, whether it be performing, vocals, dancing, technical aspects (ie lighting or audio engineering), or stagecraft (commonly referred to as "stage crew").
